Founder & CEO
Dr. Nicole Gillespie draws on over 20 years of experience in nonprofit leadership and public service to help nonprofits navigate change and transform vision into impact. She is passionate about guiding nonprofits to make the critical connection between stakeholder needs and organizational mission through ambitious goal-setting, innovative program design and rigorous evaluation.
A former naval officer, Nicole also serves as an elected official in her home state of New Jersey. She has taught high school science and math, and university courses for pre- and in-service science teachers, and has held a variety of leadership roles in formal and informal education nonprofits. She holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Russian from the US Naval Academy, an M.S. in Physics from the University of Washington and a Ph.D. in Science Education from the University of California, Berkeley.
